Locating and installing software that is available to BCSC staff

To see what software is available to you, click on the upward facing arrow in the bottom-right corner of the screen. This will show hidden icons.
Click on the ZENworks icon.
The ZENworks Application window will open.
There are a few things to note concerning this window. The software that is available to you will depend on whether you are a primary or secondary teacher and if you have any special software that has been purchased for your school or department.
We will use the installation of ExamView as our Example.
Locate the ExamView icon and hover your cursor above the icon. This will show you the name, version and status of the software. You will also notice a black "X" in the upper left corner on the icon indicating that the software is not installed.
Right-click the icon and choose Send to Desktop. You may now close or minimize the ZENworks Application window.
The ExamView icon will now appear on your desktop. Notice that the black "X" is still present indicating that the software is not yet installed.
Right-click the ExamView icon and choose Open. This will begin the download and installation of the software. Notice that you can also remove the icon from your desktop if you wish.
While the software is downloading and installing, the icon will show two small circular green arrows in the lower left indicating that the software is still loading.
After the software has been installed, ExamView will open.
