How to process lost student assets in IIQ
If a student device (case, charger, or Chromebook) is determined to be lost, the student needs to be invoiced for the device and the asset needs to be processed correctly in IIQ.
To process the asset, navigate to the asset page and click Edit. Set Status to Lost and toggle Invoiced-Lost ON. Do not check in the device.
If the device is returned, the invoice must be canceled. To cancel the invoice, notify Wendi Bartholomew about the return (include the student's name and student number and what item has been returned). In IIQ change the status back to In Service and switch the Invoiced-Lost toggle OFF.
