Connecting Your Personal Chromebook to the BCSC_BYOD Network Please submit a Workorder Ticket if you require additional assistance.

System Preference: Chrome OS


Connecting Your Personal Chromebook to the BCSC_BYOD Network

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.

1. Open Chromebook menu by clicking on the time (usually in the bottom right corner of the screen)

2. Click on Wi-Fi Connection menu

3. Select BCSC_BYOD from the list of available networks

4. In the configuration menu, select EAP Method - PEAP, EAP Phase 2 authentication - MSCHAPv2, Server CA certificate - Do not check

Keep Subject match, Subject alternative name match, and Domain suffix match blank.

Enter your BCSC username in Identity and your BCSC password in Password.

Keep anonymous identity blank and click Connect.

5. To make sure that the device is connected, go to the access menu. If you are connected, you will see BCSC_BYOD in the current network.

6. To allow for Internet access, please install the BCSC Content Keeper certificate. Instructions for this can be found here.
