Connecting Partner School Devices at BCSC

Audience: Partner School Students
System Preference: Any
Purpose: This article will assist the user in connecting their Partner School device to the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT Network, install the Content Keeper Certificate, add their BCSC Google account to their device and access their BCSC Canvas account.
What you will need: Your BCSC Email (User ID) and your BCSC password.
The steps needed will depend on the school you are from. Please select your school below and follow the instructions. Some of the Partner schools have already installed the Content Keeper Certificate for us so that step may be skipped if internet access already exists.
Brown County
Connect to the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT network
Select the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT Network and choose the following settings:
EAP Method: EAP - TTLS
Phase 2 Authentication: PAP
Server CA Certificate: Do Not Check
Identity: BCSC Email
Password: BCSC Password
If the device does not connect to the network, you may need to delete (forget) the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT network and try again. If you are still not successful, try rebooting your device or have your password reset by tech support.
Install Content Keeper Certificate
Go to the Content Keeper Certificate Website and follow the device specific instructions found on the website.
Add BCSC Google Account (Access to Canvas, Powerschool, etc…)
- Log into your device with your Partner School Account
- Open Google Chrome
- Click on your account profile picture (upper right corner)
- Click on Add another account
- Add your BCSC email address (ex. BCSC_UserID@students.bcsc.k12.in.us)
The BCSC Canvas website is: https://bcsc.instructure.com
The Powerschool website is: https://powerschool.bcsc.k12.in.us/student
Crothersville
Connect to the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT network
Select the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT Network and choose the following settings:
EAP Method: EAP - TTLS
Phase 2 Authentication: PAP
Server CA Certificate: Do Not Check
Identity: BCSC Email
Password: BCSC Password
If the device does not connect to the network, you may need to delete (forget) the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT network and try again. If you are still not successful, try rebooting your device or have your password reset by tech support.
Install Content Keeper Certificate
The Content Keeper Certificate for BCSC has been installed by the Crothersville Tech Support.
If the certificate needs to be reinstalled, go to the Content Keeper Certificate Website and follow the device specific instructions found on the website.
Add BCSC Google Account (Access to Canvas, Powerschool, etc…)
- Log out of your device with your Partner School Account
- Click on Add Person
- Add your BCSC email address (ex. BCSC_UserID@students.bcsc.k12.in.us)

The Powerschool website is: https://powerschool.bcsc.k12.in.us/student
Edinburgh
Connect to the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT network
Select the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT Network and choose the following settings:
EAP Method: EAP - TTLS
Phase 2 Authentication: PAP
Server CA Certificate: Do Not Check
Identity: BCSC Email
Password: BCSC Password
If the device does not connect to the network, you may need to delete (forget) the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT network and try again. If you are still not successful, try rebooting your device or have your password reset by tech support.

Hauser
Connect to the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT network
Select the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT Network and choose the following settings:
Identity: BCSC Email
Password: BCSC Password
Mode: Automatic
If the device does not connect to the network, you may need to delete (forget) the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT network and try again. If you are still not successful, try rebooting your device or have your password reset by tech support.
Add BCSC Google Account (Access to Canvas, Powerschool, etc…)
- Log into your device with your Partner School Account
- Open Safari
- go to https://myaccount.google.com/
- Click the Profile picture in the Top right and click add account
- Sign in with BCSC Login
- Enter the Canvas website address: https://bcsc.instructure.com
- Select Add another account
- Add your BCSC email address (ex. BCSC_UserID@students.bcsc.k12.in.us)
- Open Canvas to check if account is available

North and South Decatur
Connect to the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT network
Select the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT Network and choose the following settings:
EAP Method: EAP - TTLS
Phase 2 Authentication: PAP
Server CA Certificate: Do Not Check
Identity: BCSC Email
Password: BCSC Password
If the device does not connect to the network, you may need to delete (forget) the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT network and try again. If you are still not successful, try rebooting your device or have your password reset by tech support.

Connect to the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT network
Select the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT Network and choose the following settings:

Server CA Certificate: Do Not Check
Identity: BCSC Email
Password: BCSC Password

Connect to the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT network
Select the BCSC_BYOD_STUDENT Network and choose the following settings:

Identity: BCSC Email
Password: BCSC Password
