How to Check Voicemail

Checking Voicemail on the Deskphone

1. To access your voicemail, press the “MESSAGE” button (or enter “* 86 #”).

2.Enter your password followed by the “#” key or enter “*” to access the group mailbox.

3. Once signed in to the desired mailbox, you will have the following main menu options.

MAIN MENU OPTIONS:

1 – Review messages    2 – Scan messages

3 – Send Message         4 – More options

1 - REVIEW MESSAGES

 OPTIONS WHILE LISTENING TO MESSAGES:

1 Repeat

2  Save

3  Erase/Delete

4  Reply

5  Forward 

6  Play previous message

7  Rewind (3 seconds)

8  Pause/Resume

9  Skip forward (3 seconds)

#  Play next message

*  Skip date/time

4 - MORE OPTIONS

1 Change Personal Profile

    1 Change password

    * Return to main menu

2 Record your name or greeting

    1 Record name

    2 Record greeting (1 – 4)

    3 Play name and greetings

    4 Activate greeting

    * Return to main menu

5 Control your presence

6 Call Forwarding

    1 Activate/deactivate

    2 Review settings

    * Return to main menu

GENERAL TIPS

> If you know what buttons to press, press them without waiting for prompt to finish.    

> Delete messages you don't need; otherwise, your mailbox will get full.

> Change your greeting to match your schedule (for example, vacation)

> To bypass a person's greeting, press any key.  

Checking Voicemail in ZAC via the Zultys app

*Note: ZAC is available to download from the Company Portal or from the mobile app store.

1. Open up the ZAC app on your smartphone or laptop and sign in

Login - username (EX: vallettea)

Password - password that you created for ZAC account

Host - voip.bcsc.k12.in.us

2. Once logged in, select “Voicemail” from the lefthand column. From here you can view, edit, and delete voicemails from your personal inbox.

3. If you want to connect to a different voicemail inbox, you will need to bind to a phone to access the voicemail inbox on that phone. You can bind to the phone by selecting “softphone” and either binding by “Bind by call from device” or “Device ID” (located on the back of the phone).

Checking Voicemail from Home/Outside of the Building

1. You are able to access the BCSC voicemail system by dialing 812-526-0497 on any phone.
2. Press the * key when you hear the announcement that you have reached the BCSC voicemail system.
3. When prompted, enter your mailbox number and the # key. Your mailbox number is the same number as your phone extension.
4. When prompted, enter your password and the # key.
5. Follow the prompts to access your voicemail messages.
