10-Second Rule |
If your Chromebook is frozen, acting slow, or the screen is black, hold the Power button down for 10 full seconds. This performs a "Hard Restart" and fixes the majority of common glitches. |
Stay Organized |
If you find a website you love, click the Star icon on the far right of your address bar. This saves it to your Bookmarks Bar for one-click access later. |

Checking WiFi 📶 |
Click the clock (bottom right). Look at the WiFi symbol next to BCSCchrome. If it has 1-2 bars, move closer to the router. If it has an "X," toggle it off and back on. |
Typing Wrong Letters? |
If a student's keyboard is acting up, look at the clock. If it says "INTL" or "EXTD" instead of "US," click it and switch it back to the US Keyboard. |
Accessibility Settings |
If the screen is a strange color or a voice is reading everything aloud, click the time → Accessibility and uncheck any active features. ![]() |
