This guide will show you how to install SMART Notebook with Company Portal. This software does not work on ViewSonic boards.

SMART Notebook lets you use the pens, ink, and touch functionality of your SMARTboard.

First, you will need to open the Start Menu by clicking on the Windows icon in the taskbar.

Once the Start Menu has opened, you can search for "Company Portal" in the search bar at the top.

You should see "Company Portal" in the results with an icon of a person in front of blue shaded boxes, as shown below.

Click on Company Portal to open it.

Once Company Portal has opened, you can either search for "SMART Notebook" using the search box at the top of the window, or browse all the apps available in Company Portal by clicking on the icon with four boxes that is toward the left side of the window.

This guide will follow the method of searching for "SMART Notebook" with the search bar. 

Once you've searched for SMART Notebook, it should appear as the first result in the list. If you do not have it installed, it will say "Available" in the "Status" column. Otherwise, if it is installed on your laptop, it will say "Installed".

Do not click on or open "Class Notebook" or "Staff Notebook". They are unrelated to SMART Notebook. 

Clicking on SMART Notebook will take you to the install page, as shown in the image below. Here you will see a button that says "Install" and you can install the software by clicking on it. If it says "Reinstall", that means SMART Notebook is already installed on your laptop.

SMART Notebook may take up to 15 minutes to install. Please restart your laptop after it has finished installing.
