Getting started with the new system
Table of Contents
In the summer of 2025, BCSC will transition to Windows 11 and Google sign-in on Windows devices. This upgrade brings changes to familiar features along with new tools and enhancements to improve your experience.
Getting Started
Log In
To log in your device, please enter your full BCSC email address (including @bcsc.k12.in.us) and password.
Network Access
You MUST be connected to the Internet to log in to your BCSC laptop. However, it does not have to be a BCSC network - any Internet connection will work.
Users no longer need to be on the BCSC network for the first login - simply sign in with your credentials from any Internet connection.

You will receive a notification to complete 2-Factor Authentication with your linked device. You can Resend the notification or click “Try Another Way” to view alternative options.

New!
You will need to sign in using your BCSC email, password, and the 2-Factor Authentication method every time you sign out of your device.
Major Changes
Start Menu
The biggest visual change is that the Start menu and the search bar are centered. If you prefer, you can change the alignment back to the left in Settings - Personalization - Taskbar behaviors - Taskbar alignment.

Company Portal
With the new image, you can add BCSC-approved application to your laptop with the use of the Company Portal. Search for the Company Portal and open the application. Find the app you want to Install and click Install. If the app doesn't perform as expected, you can reinstall the app in the Company Portal as well.

Calendar
The look of the calendar has changed slightly. When you click on the time and date, the calendar will be collapsed by default. Click on the upwards arrow to expand it. You can also set Focus time by choosing the time duration and clicking Focus.
